2 Live Performances Coming Up

Sorry we’ve been quiet for a while, but we’ve been hard at work in the rehearsal studio writing new material for the next album. It’s coming along really nicely and we look forward to starting to include some of the new songs in future shows as we start to “road test” them!Despite being locked away in our little creative bubble, we have taken time out to really soak up and enjoy the amazing atmosphere in our country right now.. and of course the beautiful game! It’s a brilliant time to be South African, and we couldn’t be prouder of the job the country is doing in hosting the world. We have two live performances coming up in the next 2 weeks.

The first is on Monday 28th June at the CAPE TOWN FIFA FANFEST ON THE GRAND PARADE. If you haven’t been down to the Fan Park yet, you HAVE to come at least once! It’s a vibe!!

We have landed a plum spot on Monday nestled between two huge last 16 knockout matches on the big screens. First it’s the Netherlands vs Slovakia at 4pm and then it’s Brazil vs Chile at 8.30pm! Both are going to be cracker matches as they battle for quarter final places, and we’ll be playing live on stage in between the two at 6pm.

It’s FREE, so bring all your mates and come and soak up all that’s cool about being in Cape Town at the moment. See you there..

The second show we have planned is quite possibly THE annual party of the year on the Garden Route!

We have been invited to play the The Official Heineken After Party at the Knysna Oyster Festival on Saturday 10th July in Knysna. We are joined by our friends the Parlotones, DJ Shaun Duvet & DJ Cleo, and it promises to be a MASSIVE night!

We played this party 2yrs ago and it took us about 6 months to recover!! It really is a great party.

Doors open 6.30pm and you want to get there early ‘coz it fills up fast! We go on stage at 8.15pm sharp. Tickets available from www.webtickets.co.za

That’s all for now, but stay tuned for an announcement shortly about a very special, very exciting gig that will be taking place in Cape Town in late August..

Until then, enjoy the football and hope to see you at one of the gigs!

Hey guys, I have just got home from your gig in Knysna and I gotta tell you I feel honoured to have been in your presence. To have witnessed your amazing talent. I had an absolute ball. You guys are truly wonderful. I celebrated my deceased sons birthday today (he was a promising very talented guitarist) and I couldn’t think of any better way to have celebrated his birth and life than with music and you guys made it all the more special.
Thank you. I look forward to buying my first cd on Monday and your show in August.
    Keep rocking
    Love, your new NO1 fan
